Home Support Workers

The purpose of a Home Support Worker is to provide personalized care and support to clients in their home by assisting with activities of daily living (ADL). The HSW ensures clients' safety and comfort, maintains personal hygiene, facilitates physical activity, and promotes the independence and mental well being of the client in a respectful and compassionate manner.

HSWs Main Activities:

Provide individualized care and ensures safety, comfort and independence of clients.
Collaborate in planning and facilitating social activities with clients.
Escort clients to outdoor medical appointments where family members are not available.
Provide transportation for medical appointments, community errands and social activities.
Housekeeping services, meal planning and emotional support.
